Reflect on 2012 and start planning for 2013!

Reflect on your fitness journey and start planning for 2013! Last year, I ran the Live Strong Austin Marathon, Conoco Phillips 10K, Capitol Statesmen 10K, Texas Round-Up 5K, Bun Run 10K, DK Bday 10K, Texas F1 Grand Prix 5K, Santa Hustle Galveston Half-Marathon and many Coach ACT 5K's. This was a busy year with balancing life, running, work, school and my recent move back to Houston. I am proud that I could continue my fitness journey. I am also happy that my family and friends support this journey. What did you do in 2012 to stay healthy? What do you plan to do for the new year?

So let's continue our fitness goals for 2013. Here are a few questions that you should think about when setting new fitness goals.
  • What's inspiring and motivating you?
  • Why do you want to change your life?
  • Do you have a short or long-term fitness goals? What are they? When do you want to achieve them? How will you achieve them? Who will help you achieve them?
Here are a few tips to help you plan your 2013 health journey:
1. Start marking your calendar with your work out dates and times
2. Sign up for a local gym or training program like Coach ACT Training.*More info below*
3. Buy new workout cloths and shoes
4. Find a park or trail
5. Find a support group
6. Eat healthy (join programs like weight watcher or spark people)

What is stopping you from starting your new health journey? Coach ACT Training Walking/Running Program will now continue in Houston. Join the team so that you can achieve your fitness goals. Our first goal will be to walk/run at the Conoco Phillips Rodeo Run in February. Tell your friends and family.
