Its a New Day!

Team- It has truly been a tough summer for everybody. Many are traveling, the sun is just too hot, you have injuries, life and many other issues! But the question is, do you just give up? Do you make more and more excuses?  I am sure you have been watching the Olympics. These athletes train hard for their particular event. Find that athlete inside of you! Find that determination. Find that unwilling desire to succeed and to win the gold for yourself, your family and those that look up to you. Y.O.L.O. You only live once! This is a great slogan to live by and keep making those fitness goals. Make new goals or finish the ones you started. Keep training for those 5k, 10k, half-marathons and marathons. Don't have regrets. Finish what you started because you only live once. YOLO!

You have to listen to my favorite artist new song, Alicia Keys "New Day."  I listen to it when I wake up before my workouts. She says, Let's celebrate...Get ready for a New Day...There are no limitations...Come Alive...A feeling that I can't give up...It's now or never...If you want to touch the sky...I am going to give it my all...No matter if I fail or not...I am only going to live it like there is one life...Get ready for a New Day! Wow! Such a positive song. After I hear it in the morning, I get this unexplainable burst of energy. This song motivates me during my 6am runs in the humidity. Today Raul, my marathon trainer, had me doing 5k/10k pace drills on the track. It was crazy humid but I gave it my all and finished at a faster pace for the last lap. Its great to hear...Good job and get that high five. Listen to the song. Maybe it will motivate you too. It's a New Day...finish what you started! See you at training. I promise to be nice...
