Team-
Great job during this week’s training. Yes, you worked out in this bad weather…I am
proud of you. No rain should slow your
health journey. Make sure to come next
Tuesday and Thursday for the last training of 2011. I will be nice!
The winners of the measurement challenge are:
Margaruite- 1st
Place
Norma- 2nd
Place
Evangeline- 3rd
Place
Congrats to the all who participated in the challenge! It was truly a friendly and tough competition. Congrats again Margaruite AKA Road Runner AKA
Assistant Coach! You have truly come a
long way. The team and I are very proud
of you. I told you the first week of
training that you had it in you to be
fast…I remember you laughed when I gave you the nickname Road Runner but look
at you now. Your endurance has improved
tremendously. Now we got to keep up with
you! I would ask, “How do you feel.” You would say, “I am tired.” Now you say,” I am okay and feel good”.
The measurement challenge taught us a couple of
lessons. It taught us that life can get
in the way of our health journey. But
they should just be considered small bumps on the road that with persistence we
can overcome. You fall and quickly get
back up to continue your health journey.
Don’t give up. High numbers don’t
happen overnight. My health journey
started in 2007. By 2008, I had lost 20 lbs. I was first measured in 2/19/2008 after I joined
my gym. As of 8/16/11, I have lost a total
of 18.4 inches and over 55 lbs. I want
you to realize that with any challenge hard work and dedication pays off but
sometimes it’s not overnight. Be patient
and you will see tremendous results in the long run.
Special thanks to Amber Moon Studio, Luke’s Locker, Mike’s
Print Shop and 4imprint. The team
enjoyed the drawing prizes, shirts and certificates.
Remember I want results not excuses…it’s for your health.
