Congrats to all that participated in the Weight Watchers Walk-It challenge. You had great finish times. You definitely earned your 5K Weight Watchers charm.
Let’s talk about the importance of setting goals. During my journey, my goal was to lose 15 then 25 then 40 and so on. Then my goal was to walk a 5k, run a 5K, a 10K and a half-marathon. It’s a great feeling to see that I completed those goals. My next would be a full marathon. Watch out 2012!
What is your short and long term fitness goal? What are the fitness goals that you have achieved? Write it down somewhere or make copies of it to look at it every day. Read them in the morning, when your having a bad day, when you're about to eat junk food, or when you just don't want to work out. Now that we started the measurement challenge, we have to work harder to make sure you reach your goals. I strongly believe that being healthy is hard work but it is worth it to keep going… do it for YOU! Are you up for the challenge?
