Support!

Your health journey can begin at anytime but you can’t do it alone. You need support to keep you going. I am proud of the team training extra days and asking your friends to walk/run with you. Keep it going. For days you want to walk inside: Click here for the capitol extension distance map.

Last week a new member joined the team. Her nickname for now is “Go, Mississippi”. Go, Mississippi, welcome to the team! Your first goal is to join us for the Komen Austin Race for the Cure® downtown in November. You can do it. Can’t wait to see you cross the finish line with the Team. Only then will I call you a Texan. Up for the challenge?

Registration is open for our next race join me for the 2011 Komen Austin Race for the Cure® downtown on Sunday, November 13, 2011.

P.S. White lighting: Should I consider you a 5K professional? The upcoming Komen race will be your sixth 5k race in a span of 2 years. Incredible!
