10 steps to being successful 2012: How I will no longer use excuses?

We all have lazy days, and that has been one of my many excuses. Personally, time is my biggest excuse often times telling myself exercise is not a priority and therefore not including it as part of my daily routine. What a rude awakening! All my excuses have led to weight gain. I realized that when I make excuses that let me off the hook, the person it hurts the most is me.

My 10 steps to being successful in 2012:
1. Put myself first, balance my priorities and make time for myself.
2. Stop procrastinating, especially during the holidays
3. Set attainable weight loss goals
4. Stay motivated
5. Stay active, include exercise in my every day routine
6. Eat less, plan and prepare my meals.
7. Flexible Diet plan, reward myself once in a while, but not every day
8. Avoid junk food
9. Stay committed
10. Have fun, know that once I get started it’s fun

I am aware that exercise is not only a way to lose weight, but to maintain overall health and fitness. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to include exercise as part of my daily routine in order to get fit this year. So, I’m dusting off my excuses and getting my big fat butt ready for a successful 2012.
